When I start the game I get the error message: Failed to initialize the Graphic Hardware Device.(3)

I am running the game on Linux with a AMD GPU.

Did anyone solve this?

Same problem with my AMD GPU.
The only way I found a fix was by using the Classic Rebirth mod with the Japanese version (don't worry Classic Rebirth put it back in english)
AND
By using a program called DG Voodoo.

I hope it helps and I'm crossing my fingers that GOG could update their version with a fix.

Same issue on Linux with NVIDIA GPU (GTX 1060 6GB).

I am also using an AMD card with REBirth on Linux, but the graphics seem to be messed up with lines through them and weird shadows

I used the the DG Voodoo application in that link and it fixed those visual glitches.

I had the same issue (Windows 11, RX6700XT). It worked for me after switching from Galaxy to the standalone installation.

quickest way would probably to use the dgvoodoo2 override option in your starter.
