Does this include the emulated PS1 versions such as Resident Evil Director's Cut, Resident Evil 2 Dual Shock Edition, and Resident Evil 3 or is it just the PC versions such as Resident Evil 2 Platinum Edition?

These will just be the original PC releases as they were but working on modern computers with modern controller support, it's hard to tell if RE2 will be Platinum Edition as they are taking their time to make sure they are "just right" but if anything just expect these to only be the original PC release as so far that's what RE1 is.

Thanks for the reply. I was kind of hoping for emulated PS1 versions to make them more open to being used on other devices than just a PC. I do hope GOG can talk Capcom into putting the PSX versions up as bonus content for those that buy the games on GOG. As for Platinum, it's just what the US box of the PC version says, which was why I brought it up. If these are just the PC versions sold with fixes and optimizations, I wonder if it also means the extra costumes from the PC version of RE3 will be available and Mercenaries Mode/Operation Mad Jackal will be available from the start.

It wouldn't be more open, and would probably require a lot more work, if it's even possible to make it work on PC. And, an emulated solution would cause more CPU overhead, like all emulated stuff.

I think it's a better decision to work with existing PC ports.
This is the endgoal. and the reason why I encourage buying this. A ultimate collection equal to what Konami did with MGS. But please on every existing platform and not rotting away on gog.
I'd also heavily encourage releasing on other platforms. It would bring so much more attention and players to these games. And, more money for GOG and Capcom as well.
