So I bought the pack, even though I was a bit hesitant because I feared censorship regarding RE2 as it is quoted to have an ages 16+ rating on GOG, despite the original release having been indexed back then (meaning it could only be sold under the counter to people ages 18 and over).

What I absolutely did NOT expect was the first one being censored. So I kill my first zombie and it bleeds in a faint, translucent pink? Is this a joke of some sorts? A bug? Is there a fix?

And does anyone know how I actually quit the game without alt-tabing out?

It's uncut for me but I did download the english installer.

You quit the game by returning to the title screen with F9 and on the title screen press F9 once again to quit the game. One of those things that would've been in the manual back then but yeah, not exactly intuitive.

I wouldn't worry about RE2, it's not indexed anymore and has been rated as USK 16 for quite some time. During the PS3 days you could eventually buy the american PS1 version of RE2 on german Playstation Network without issues.

Thank you for your reply and sorry for taking so long to reply myself. First thing: Thanks for telling me how to quit properly. That was very helpful.

I also use the English installation of the game. I'm not sure if it may not be a graphics bug if you don't experience these issues. I took a screenshot to illustrate how it looks for me when zombies bleed out:

It's barely noticeable and it's even fainter than Jill's own shadow. The red floor surely doesn't help tho.
It's definitely pretty hard to see, dunno if that's a bug or not. It didn't appear pink to me when I played though. Rather... transparent.

Good to hear that it's also somewhat "transparent" to others. Maybe worth a fix then, because it's not been like that in the PC or the PS version, both of which I've played. I recall an abandonware version I used to play also didn't have these issues.
