Hello! Can anyone help me?

I can't start the game as it asks for DirectX 6 or higher, wich I have.
I've read online something about it but no solutions.
No posts in this topic were marked as the solution yet. If you can help, add your reply

Many older games require DX9 to be installed, so it might be the case. If you have DX10 or higher only, it won't do. Download the latest DX9 version (9.0c) and it should install alongside the newer version.

Kerebron: Many older games require DX9 to be installed, so it might be the case. If you have DX10 or higher only, it won't do. Download the latest DX9 version (9.0c) and it should install alongside the newer version.
Thanks for the advice, I tried but it says it's incompatible with my hardware :(

Irish86: Thanks for the advice, I tried but it says it's incompatible with my hardware :(
At my place, I installed version 9.0c of directx drivers and I still get the same error ze requires driver 6.0 or later.....

Same issue for me.
When I try to start the Steam version it shortly starts and stops without any error. This happens since I have a new PC with Nvidia RTX and Widescreen Monitor. On my old PC with AMD R9 290 GPU the Steam version started without issue.

I set the resolution in the DirectX wrapper and the game started without DirectX 6.0 error message.
