This was a very novel concept and although it ends up being a bit inaccessible in places for gamers who like to think and enjoy playing more than they enjoy 'beating' a game, this could be a sound purchase.
I bought it on release and have never regretted that decision, even though, like another commentor or two, I installed it and found it a bit puzzling at first and it gets quite difficult, quite quickly if you haven't already grasped the subtleties of the gameplay and / or have a grasp of real politics (or is that real politik?).
The graphics are pretty enough without being distracting and the voice-acting is good enough that it doesn't get annoying (to me anyway), the gameplay is innovative and gets quite challenging. I think this is one of the best games ever made but its depth and complexity meant it was never going to be a blockbuster... and you know? I'm okay with that.
