When I double click the icon, a Republic EXE appears in the task manager and disappears. This is under Windows 7.
Can anyone confirm how big their install directory is? Mine is 101 files and 982MB. It passes the integrity check though...

Have you tryed the various compatibility settings. You can access those by right clicking the games shortcut and going to properties. The all the options you need are under the compatibility tab. Try setting it to windows XP and running it as administrator if 7 requires that.

Yep, Ralackk's right. I had the same problem until I ran it as an administrator.
