Hi there,

the game runs great on the new Surface Pro 4 i5 but it does not seem to support clicks with the pen.

Usually touching the screen with the pen should invoke or be interpreted as a mouse left click but Renowned Explorer seems to ignore or not capture it. The movement works fine and the cursor follows the pen.
Most games, even old ones like Commandos work fine and accept the touch with the pen as a mouse left click.

Would be great if you could look into it, would love to play it without having to use a mouse.

Thanks

Not a solution, but if this hasn't been implemented yet, I'd like this support as well. Ideally we'd have touch support, but ....

Go to My Documents/Renowned[...]Society/userdata/settings.ini
There you add
g_touchIsMouse=true
to the list of commands.

Have fun!

Thanks. Wasn't sure where to add that. I saw it in the Steam forums, but it sounded like a command-line switch, not something to put in the settings file. Will try that on my Surface.

Edit: Tried it and it worked, though it's a long press for movement. Also ate through a bunch of battery while running one scenario. I enjoyed the runthrough and not having to use the touchpad, though.

Thanks for the info, gonna try it out when I have the time.

I have also found an appilcation that i wanted to try out but didn't have the time for yet, it's called TouchMousePointer which can be used as a fullscreen overlay and then used as a track-pad on the screen.

http://www.lovesummertrue.com/touchmousepointer/en-us/download.html

Unlinke the new version of the TouchMousePointer that is now packed with other applications, the older one (1.9.6.7) still works and is a standalone app.
