Im not too familiar with DOS or any of the sort i just remember playing this loooooong ago. Now that i got it It seems to start up but then all i get is a blank screen then it just turns off. Then i tried to run Rides Again and it went through the beginning scenes but after it finishes it turns off again. Suckin on Grits just turns off after the few lines of code (assuming DOS). I have Windows 7 would that possibly be the issue? Other then that is there a way i could make RR run on my computer with out closing by itself
Edit: Ok now i seem to have gotten the first one to work. Unfortunatly the rendering/color scheme is off. Is it the high graphics card that i have? Also when i started playing i couldnt find out how to turn the country music off.....was really loud lol

Check your start menu folder for the game and it will have a graphics setup program or a setup program you can change the settings there. Make sure to run either as administrator though if you installed it to program files on your win7 machine.

It's a dosbox game - there's no trouble on win7 32 bit with my GTX 275 (although your card may be newer, I can't see a general problem with dosbox). You'll want to run the setup programme first (in which you can define controls and set screen resolution - I'd recommend no more than 800x600 for a build engine game unless you have a 3rd party graphics patch)
As for the psychobilly music blaring out at you, this can be turned off under options - there should be a submenu for sounds and then for the 8-track player. This can then be turned off. Most people do find the music in redneck too loud (and it often blocks out the caustic comments at the start of each level!)
