I know this has been covered before, I have read all the relevant threads and tried their solutions, but I also noted that those solutions were from well over a decade ago. I tried setting the "music=100 setting, no dice, still too loud. I tried the trick with "mixer cdaudio 25:25", and that caused the 8 Track player to stop working entirely, no music at all, and if you try to bring up the 8 track player in game it flickers briefly and goes back to the menu.

So, those old solutions may have worked back then, but something changed and they no longer work.

I'm using Windows 10 and the latest update of the Redneck Rampage Collection.
