in the original most of the menus have the bottom portion are cut off. Even after changing the screen size.

I think that's a game defect. In the Options menu one lline is cut... well it doesn't matter does it? :D
I suppose if it's a game defect, then that's not so much an issue.. kind of disappointing that I bought a game that was broken... I'd have liked to have been told that some features other than multiplayer might out right be broken.
I mean, I know there's only a limited set of support to expect but if that line is gone..

This line isn't gone you can still access it, you just don't see it in the menus ;)
And btw, the multiplayer is here ;D Just check in the GOG.com's start menu: in each RR folder there's "Network Game" with two links : Host game and Client game!
Some of us could meet one day to play again and start a server, I highly doubt there still is any RR pure server ;)
the issue being, is that I've seen there being two different items really, one looks like it's record gameplay, but then when I go bigger another one looks like parental settings.
it might be nice to turn the curse words off so I can play with my kids in the room.

I understand you :D I've attached a screen. You don't see it like me?

I see it like that sometimes, othertimes it looks like there's an option to record gameplay that's blocked off.
Yep, and it is here. Weird. But the parental lock should work :o

I personally wouldn't play it with kids in the room due to the topless Hawaiian lamps and the occasional topless spray paint art on some walls.

They can't see the screen, it's all about the audio.
the game isn't broken, just press the = key next to backspace to make the the ammo display that's covering up the menu go away.
- and = make the heads up display bigger or smaller. personally i just play with the health and ammo display in the corner and when i need to check what door keys i have or whatever press - to bring up the rest.

to use the record feature you have to turn it on before starting a game. all it does is record demos like the one being played in the background when you start the game. they're saved as .DMO files in the game folder, and i don't really know any good use for them.
if you want to record a video for youtube or something, i know DOSBox has a record feature because i've recorded this game before but i forgot how to do it.

then you'll want to go to options > sounds and turn "leonard talk" off. i'm not sure what turning off adult mode does in redneck rampage, but in duke nukem 3d it just removed some visual stuff, not audio.

Recording can be used for many different things, i.e. custom content show offs, engine show offs, etc. probably mostly used for NETPLAY, although given the option is in dosbox, it might be better to use that. but that pretty much solves the issue, thankye
