The duplicate files are gone, and now both games have the redbook audio!
Thank you guys! =D

gog is a real good site
How big is the file you have downloaded?
Mine is 337mb.
The new installer is a little over 600mb.
That's great to hear, i missed the soundtrack in this game...
Well I haven't heard the soundtrack before this version of our installer and now I know that I missed half of the game :)

Cabal: The new installer is a little over 600mb.

How do I access the new installer? The website displayed its size as "601 MB" but when I clicked I downloaded a 337 MB (more or less) file.
edit: The displayed size is 605.1 MBs, not 601 MBs, but it still gives me the 337 MB file.

It does the same for me. I guess the new file hasn't been pushed out all all of the CDN's servers?

But some people are already talking about the "new installer" as if they managed to download it... I wonder how they did it.

Because the CDN has lots of servers, your downloads will come from the server closest to you on the internet. We don't all hit the same server, so most likely the servers we are hitting with the 337MB file have not yet been updated.
I'd guess they will be updated pretty soon though...
Now that I have the new file, I have to agree - it's 4w3s0m3. I didn't know RR had such a hilarous soundtrack, and it sets up the perfect atmosphere for playing the game :-D
Wow, the GOG.com folks have managed to do something with this new installer that I could never get to work with my Vista system-have the redbook audio play properly! It could be because they're using disc images while I'm using the actual CD, but I'm not complaining.
That's just yet another reason why this service needs to take off-you spend a bit of money, download your game, install it, and play it right away with no fiddling whatsoever unless you don't like the default controls.

It's nearly like a console.
