Okay, so when I first downloaded and installed the RR collection and played the first game without going to setup to change my controls, the game played fine. However, when I went to setup so I can more comfortably change my controls and also changed some of the graphics to higher resultions, I would start the game, and the cutscenes would play and the menu would come up, but once I actually start playing the game, the game right then and there locks up. I thought it was graphical issues, so I went and changed it back to default graphical settings, but that didn't work.

did you try reinstalling ?

Not yet, but that's probably am what I'm gonna try. I'll let you know if it doesn't work.
