I bought this to have an FPS on my netbook. Unfortunately since it's DosBox it did not run terribly well. My Netbook is a little underpowered to be emulating things as such. I won't play it on the Desktop.
I will be uninstalling it, but I do not wish it to go to waste. As strange as this might sound, I'm willing to gift it to someone who will enjoy it.
Either there is no feature on GOG to reference peoples wishlists, or I'm too dumb to find it... I'd prefer to be able to seek out someone jonesing for this game and randomnly give it away.

may i suggest running the game using VDMSound?
after fiddling with some settings and doing a little bit of googling i was able to get it running 30 fps+ at 640x480 on my aspire one (2 gigs ram, intel integrated graphics).
also, recently discovered eRampage (search for it on code.google.com) which is an attempt to modify eDuke engine enough to run the rampage series.. seems to run okay so far.
