Hey, I know that Build Engine games aren't very win-xp friendly, especially Redneck Rampage... I'd like to know what is the stuff you used as a win port? If of course you can tell us ;o I'd like to avoid a game using a port I already tried.
what i'm wondering is whether it comes with the soundtracks for RR and Rides Again. they were cd audio tracks (you could listen to them in a cd player) so they would probably take up a lot of space uncompressed. the game page says the installer exe is 337.6 MB and i'm assuming that it would be bigger if music was included, too bad.

I
dunno...keeping the music in the CDA format wouldn't be too wise in the age of MP3's, OGG's and such (+the setup's compressing ratio is quite good), so there is a chance.
I certainly hope this is the scenario for this release, that's why I haven't bought the id super pack, because many games were quite crippled without the music.

That is the game with the CD Track.
Without the CD track it would be about 50 - 75megs.

i have them all installed and the total size is 370mb, so we'll see
hopefully it comes out tuesday
Probably dosbox, as they work 100% perfectly with good resolution on a decent PC. On a good PC you can even get 800x600+ working. So I can't see there being any issue with compatiblity.
Hello,

Will I be able to play some deathmatch with my friends? As far as I recall, the original game used IPX/Modem only, does the new XP game use user friendly TCPIP?
