I have a HP laptop running Windows 8.1 with Intel HD graphics 4000. When I run Redline I get these nasty visual glitches and I have tried all kinds of combinations to try and remove them. I cannot find anything online regarding this issue at all so it may just be my setup. But any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am also experiencing the same problem. I'm using i7-4700hq with GeForce GTX 870M on Win8.1. Does anyone have any advice.

I just found a solution to this problem. You need to install an old video driver for you Intel HD 4000. I just installed a driver from July, last year and the video glitches I saw with the latest driver weren't there. :) Basically, it seems the latest drivers have dropped the DX support needed for Redline.

It is most likely your video driver. You should try one that is a year old or older.

There doesn't seem to be any 2013 win8 drivers on the intel website for the i7 4700hq. I'll check the Asus support website when they have finished their website maintenance. Ta.

If you guys are desperate enough, you can always install Linux Mint and use wine with playonlinux to play Redline.

For those who have this issue and also have another graphics chip, you might have luck with the other graphics chip. I had to manually tell my computer to use my NVidia over the Intel HD 4000, but once that was done the graphics glitches stopped. There are other topics suggesting not all NVidia chips work though.
