I've seen people reporting a jerky mouse in the game, and after switching back to Windows 7 from Windows 8, I too started to have this problem. Most obviously/likely a DirectInput-related problem, I found the di-wrapper-project in google code, which seems to fix the problem for me. You have to download and copy the dinput.dll to your Redline game folder. Doesn't make the mouse extremely smooth or anything, but it did turn the game very playable for me.
