Warning! The new update from Windows (1607) makes PF useless. The game will not work anymore with error message:

For me the problem is pure faction won't launch game at all.
The PF launcher starts and I can change settings but it won't launch game.
The game runs fine for me with the original RedFaction.exe though.
I'm on win 10 pro 64 bit with anniversary

Maybe this Fix can help. Just make sure you use a clean installation of Red Faction since the Fix is NOT compatible with any version of Pure Faction yet.

There's another client named Dash Faction, I recommend it above the rest.

The dash faction thing gives an “unsupported game executable error” and doesn’t seem to work, unless I’m doing something wrong.

You need to download the NA version 1.20 RF.exe from faction files and replace the exe that comes with the gog/steam versions, to get dash faction to work.
