Does RF1 have any sort of coop? I remember this being a console FPS from an era before Halo made coop a "must have" for console FPS and t I seem to recall that it only had the tediously generic "team deathmatch"-esque multiplayer.

I'm always looking for coop campaigns. Project Eden is standing fairly alone when it comes to full coop campaigns for games on GOG :(

...every time I think of this game I remember the hype that surrounded it all those years ago, about how every game after it would have fully destructible environments and yet today Battlefield 4's quasi-destructible environments are being hailed as being somewhat innovative (when they should be a decade stale).

I'm fairly certain it does none (if someone knows something I don't, feel free to correct me), I think it only has deathmatch type games in multiplayer.

Although, I remember reading an interview with the COD 3 devs about the "destructibility" in it, and most you can do is shoot some fences and bottles up. Six Days in Fallujah I know was supposed to make Bad Company's destructibility look silly, but that never came out. Unfortunately, it seems that it isn't so much technological limitation so much as level design that makes devs not want to do destructibility, because they would have to take the many possibilities into account, which is understandable, but would be nice if more games featured some really dynamic environments like that. Oh well. If you were weighing whether or not to buy Red Faction, I recommend it very much on the grounds of the gameplay being fun, the GeoMod (while not as important as you would have hoped) working well, and it can be pretty funny at times. Still, no coop to my knowledge.
