I am able to change the sound via the installation program. However, this is not reflected in the game. It remains Adlib, no matter what setting I chose.

Tried doing the same on a CD iso I have - it CAN be changed and plays Roland, PC Speaker etc.

What gives???

I'm looking for a solution, did you find any?
Got the solution. Inside Red Baron folder, find dosboxred1_single.conf file and open it. Go to the end and in the last lines:

:setup
cls
inst.exe
goto exit

:exit
exit

change them to:

:setup
cls
call install.bat
goto exit

:exit
exit

Well it's just a line, but I place all of them to help you to locate it easily. Now execute setup again, and turn on your roland port with Munt and dosboxred1.conf
