The game seems to freeze kind of as the sound goes silent. If I press Tab some noise comes back but it's different. I can switch views but it doesn't seem like I can control the plane. Mostly the graphics are messed up. I can see the plane and dials but it's all dark and the sky is blank black. How does this work for people on win10. Any ideas? Thank yoiu

My installation is not working perfectly either, but I can get it somewhat stable on Windows 10. First, make sure you check the compatibility mode to Windows XP Service Pack 2. Some people have success with checking the 640X480 box in the same menu as well. Make sure you select "Glide" in the graphic settings. It also might help to disable V-Sync in the Glide settings.

Despite all this, I still experience graphic anomalies. But, it doesn't crash too often. I still get discolored terrain and aircraft at times though.
