Hi,
I have 3 Saitek Joysticks and only two of them work in Red Baron II 3D. All three work in Red Baron 1 and other flight simulators.

Saitek ST90 works OK
Saitek AV8R-01 works OK
X52 (not pro) is not recognised at all. I noticed someone else had this problem but did not repond to he thread.

Anyone have any ideas why a X52 will not be recognised? This stick is my normal use stick with FS2004, FSX, IL21946 and a few Third Wire sims so I know it works OK.
No inputs work in RB 3D at all.

Could the game be confusing one axis for another? X52 got quite a lot.
Are you runnig the stick bare or with the profiler?

the game does not seem to be mixing up any of the inputs, as it does not register anything at all. I remember IL2 used to get the inputs mixed up and I would have to swap them over.

Odd the Red Baron 1 sees the X52. Looks like I will have to stick with the simpler joy sticks.

Edit, yes I like Third Wire Products, I have only just got around to trying them. No DRM like GoG and run on my C OK.

RB1 gets stick input through DOSBox with handles basic joystick support with ease.

RB2 is a tricky one. If memory serves My X52 Pro got the axis input working but the trigger didn't want to fire guns. Worked fine with Cyborg Evo but for the Pro I had to create a profile with trigger mapped to be the space bar.

That was back when you could get a free German RB2 from Sierra. Bought the GoG pack but haven't got round to installing. Does it come with Full Canvas Jacket Contol Panel?
