I have a clan, and I was wondering if you can still play red baron 2 multiplayer (I know that WON was shut down, but is it still possible?)

Yup - Unfortunately I've never gotten around to joining a game myself, but Wailwulf and a couple others on the forum play multiplayer. There are some servers still active and Wailwulf is part of a group that are revitalizing the game with a new engine. But before that they release a multiplayer mod: Red Baron Redux.

This post by Wailwulf has a lot of great information including a mulitplayer .exe that servers will accept and how to configure your mulitplayer .ini file to find servers that are still up:

I've never done it but believe that people are still playing MP somewhere on some server. Another possibility is playing on a remote LAN like Hitachi (spelling?) like players in other games have done.

Yes, there are fundays every Saturday at 4:00 Eastern time and most nights 9:00 you get a good group in General de Deville's server.

you will need this in your mplayer config settings to see servers

[MetaServers]

there's also a patch or fix for the gog Baronmmp.exe so you won't get the "Out of Synch"
when you enter a server.
follow Crazy_dave's link to Wailwulf post you'll see it there.

After you fix Baronmmp.exe you'll get a message disk missing,
just click on upper right hand cross 6 times game will start. (see image)
