Hi fellas.

Got a really nasty problem here. This is my first playthrough for Rebel Galaxy, put maybe 40-50 hours into it. My last save had me piloting an Arcturus class destroyer fully kitted with level 3 equipment and 2 special upgrades from that AI thingie as well as about 500K spare credits.

So there I was giving hell to a large group of pirates when the game gets real choppy and the audio cuts out. So I finish the battle in silence, get to the nearest station and Save the game. Then I exited the game and restarted it... Only to discover that my savegame had disappeared.

There was some kind of updating from GOG Galaxy after I exited so that may have been the cause, but I'm not sure.

Also, For some reason, I can't save in more than 1 savegame slot throughout my playthrough. The "Manage Saves" option on the main menu seems to do nothing other than highlight the first savegame slot. Can't select a different slot and can't change anything.

My guess is I'm pretty much fucked out of many days of progress. But shit like this happens. What I'm more worried about though is whether it'll happen after a few hundred hours of progress. No idea how this happened, but if you guys know, could you help me out? Also, you might want to think of this as a cautionary tale and be careful of this happening to you.

for what its worth my stock Asus tp500ln (windows 10 side) plays the game just fine... finished the last game yesterday so I wouldn't think its galaxy.

it sounds like your G-card driver or network may have been the issue... thats much more of a problem if you let Microsoft take control of your system updates?

edit: p.s, each game only gets one save file but you can restart a new game to try other options without mucking up your main character

I've lost like three or more savegames playing on my Playstation 4. The game have a serious save game problem.
On the other hand many seems to have no problem at all so I dunno what's up with its corrupted saves.

The Game Should Allow Player Saves, Not Just Auto-Saves For single Game String...
