First of all; I love the game.
I can't pin point it down, but whatever it is, it's gotten me addicted big time.
One small problem I have is the sound though.
I love the option for a custom soundtrack, but every time I'm in battle, or just want to chill out the music gets quiet to allow a message to be played. This is nice when it's important dialog, but annoying as hell if it's just the usual situation awareness or useless banter of people who don't know that they are talking to the Grim Reaper.
I can never experience the epic awesomeness that is the Advent Children version of "One-Winged Angel" (You'd be surprised just how well it fits into epic space battles) during battle without it being constantly interrupted. Since sound and voice acting seems to be on the same sound channel, I turned it down completely, hoping this would fix it.
But instead of just turning down the sound, it still kept the addition of lowering the volume on the music. So now the music just gets quieter and I don't even hear someone talk.
Assuming Double Damage Games reads this:
Could you please, please fix this? This breaking immersion is such a huge way, I can't full enjoy combat without the option.
