The mouse cursor on Mac OS moves extremely sluggish. If you move the mouse, you have to wait some milliseconds, then the cursor speeds up slowly (I can see an acceleration) and moves to the target. But this behaviour is not useable. To change the mouse sensitivity has no effect.
Same problem with 1.03.

I think the main problem is, that the mouse cursor waits an half second, before it moves. This is extremely disturbing. It is impossible to control the mouse precisely. This delay remains if I set FAST_MOUSE_INERTIA:1 (I saw this hint in an other forum). This hint removes the disturbing acceleration only, but it don't remove that delay... The mouse delay exist everywhere, in the menu and inside the game. If I move the mouse cursor on a button, then the button needs an half second to become highlighted. Same with the camera. If I move the mouse, the camera movement starts after an half second delay...

I have the same issue, changing the "FAST_MOUSE_INERTIA:1" setting in ~/Library/App Support/Rebel Galaxy/local_settings.txt helped somewhat, but it's still a pretty bad experience. Hovering over a button takes seconds, scrolling up and down lists using the mouse scroll button is hellish, and aiming is nearly impossible. It makes playing the game feel really clunky and bothersome.
