Im also missing some achievments i should have gotten allready.

I have "siege breaker" (10 blockades) but not "siege buster" (1 blockade)

I pirated more than one merchant but still havnt got the achievment for it.

This is something that really bothers me.

for what its worth my achievements are working just fine... not that I give a shit about them but the game is updating my account.

I have the same issue with siege breaker/siege buster and it really bugs me too. At one point they were misnamed and then they were fixed in a patch. I wonder if the fix made it so that we can never get siege buster. From a pseudo code perspective it is fairly easy to imagine a scenario where they never check for it again as we have siege breaker, therefore it is assumed that we must have buster.

Yeah, this is annoying... According to stats I've only broken 1 blockade but achievements have given me the "Siege Breaker" achievement for 10? It should have unlocked "Siege Buster". "A Pirate's life" also won't unlock even though I've pirated plenty of merchants.

This remains a problem in my game. I still don't have the single siege breaker, though I do have the several siege breaker badge. Is Double Damage still working on this game at all?

Also, for these badges, is it possible to implement a progress bar? I can't imagine I haven't hit the capital ships, fighters, and torpedoes destroyed badges but I do not have them as well. It would be very nice to know how far the game thinks I am on them.

Like the others that have posted, I am having the same problem. Some achievements unlocked the first day of playing (On The Go, Siege Buster, Bounty Hunter) and one unlocked yesterday (Sure Shot), but no other achievements have been unlocked, including two there can be no doubt about (Some Muscle, Pirate Hunter).

I'll add that the developer said he was looking into the problem in 2015 in a Steam discussion forum (https://steamcommunity.com/app/290300/discussions/1/483368433107462483/) but as it's now 2017, I'm guessing no fix will be forthcoming.

Well, that sucks. Achievements add to a game's replayability for me and if they aren't working here I'll just pass this game up.
