So I've loaded a bunch of music tracks into folders for use with the custom music feature and clicked the Custom Music checkbox in the Launcher window. Whenever I go into an instance that calls for a new music list (Idle, Combat, In-Station, etc.), the game randomly selects a song from the path I've assigned for that instance (path, not track, that's not the issue). Fine and dandy so far.
But then that song repeats. Doesn't matter what the song is, it repeats. I've been searching for ANY solution to this problem and have tried numerous things to try and fix it.
1. Getting rid of the short music tracks doesn't change anything. It doesn't matter if the track is thirty seconds long or three minutes, it repeats.
2. Clicking the checkbox "Combine This Music With Original Soundtrack" in the Custom Music Paths dialog box doesn't change anything.
3. Changing the file format of all my tracks to .ogg (like the files from the game's own soundtrack) doesn't change anything.
4. Putting the folders containing the custom tracks inside Rebel Galaxy's own music folder doesn't change anything.
Help, please? As I've said I've been searching about this and found nothing useful, and I really don't want to have to listen to the game's default soundtrack of off-brand Firefly music.
EDIT: I waited through a custom track in the main menu of the game. I was hopeful when it didn't repeat, but when I played the game itself, the Idle and In-Station instances were still repeating. I'm not inclined to think it has anything to do with the tracks themselves, because I've set the paths for the Menu music and the In-Station music to the same folder.
