Does anyone know a way to run this at something less than maximum resolution? On a 2017 iMac with Retina display, the game doesn't seem to offer any options other than the full 4096x2304, making for sluggish performance.

I don't recall ever encountering another game that insisted on running at the full Retina resolution, but the only advice I've found online is to turn down other graphics settings, which isn't a very satisfying solution as it noticeably downgrades the quality of the visuals.
