I was wondering if characters from the 1st game can be transferred to the second and so on? I do not have the game but this is something I would like to know before buying t.
Yes, you can. At least according to the FAQs and strategy guides, which recommend party configurations to last you through both games.

all 3 too?
I'm quite sure about 1-->2, and I can say with moderate confidence that 2-->3 works as well.

great thx one more reason for me to get em all
Yes. You can play the entire trilogy with the same party by copying the final save into the folder of the following game and loading it. The only thing that gets lost is the money. (Which is why it is well spend on herbs...)

That was one of the outstanding qualities of the games back in the days...

fantastic so just before finishing it is a good idea to spend all your money on items and what nots then thx
Before finishing RoA your money is best spent on expensive herbs which are stackable. I recommend praying at an Ingerimm temple to get your weapons repaired too, small damage in weapons is invisible in RoA1 but visible in RoA2.
