Not sure what I'm doing wrong, but whenever I try my first save in Star Trail a popup appears asking for me to input certain words from the manual. I've done that, referencing the gog copy of the manual, but the words never work.

Can anyone tell me what I'm missing here?

What you are missing is the passcodes file which are usually included by gog as a .pdf or .txt file.

Simply check out the installation directory and look there or the file.
