Hello all! I recently purchased this game and am hooked. I would like to know if there is any way to slow down the combat damage messages? They flash up so quickly that I can't tell how much damage was dealt. I have set Text Speed and Combat Speed both to Slow (in the F3 menu) but neither seemed to affect this. Any aid would be greatly appreciated.

I am having the same problem on my Mac. You could try altering the CPU cycles in DOSBox by presssing CTRL-F11 (slower) (or maybe CTRL-F8 on a PC) and CTRL-F12 (Faster). I couldn't tell exactly how much that helped me. You have to be careful, though, as this tweak sometimes causes DOSBox to crash. Anyone else have any ideas here?
