Hello again. Jeez, really bumping my post count today. Anyway:
The RoA 2 intro doesn't play at all. After launch and playing the first few notes of the intro music, it skips to the difficulty selection for starting a new game.
Also, it seems like the default sound config doesn't play well with the DOSBOX settings given in the .conf file. Care to look into that, gog.com team? :)

JudasIscariot: "Sound Hardware Not Found" thread perhaps?

Ahh right if that was the sound problem I won't need to restart my game. Didn't know if maybe some sound was missing from the game having never played it before this gog release.

JudasIscariot: Check the new sticky, ya'll...

Is it just me, or the installer is much smaller than the previous one?

Yeah, I'm interested in this too. I bought this game less than 12 hours before the fix was made, and although I certainly appreciate the smaller footprint I'd like to know why the difference is so huge before I get rid of the old installer.

I already sent a mail to support about the new installer size. I'm waiting for a reply.

I wish I had done the same thing, I deleted and removed it from the recycle bin before trying to grab the new one.

Sure thing ;)
The answer is pretty simple. As the said they cannot offer the CD Audio for RoA 2, so they removed the iso image, which was 600 or so Mb :)

I think the game had midi audio so they must have just packaged that in there and not used it. If thats the case then no worries.
There is nothing wrong with installer - we just remove audio cd iso we can't give you .
everything should works fine :)
Thanks for clearing that up Resil.
I just got the same answer from support ( Thanks Peter ;) ) a few minutes ago.
Awesome guys!
