Hey all,

So after not having played Realms of Arkania: Blade of Destiny since owning an Amiga and never quite finishing (I ran out of people to get map pieces off with only 5 under my belt) I find I've hit exactly the same problem on this playthrough (albiet this time with GOG's version), and I've found a problem (maybe) that googling around seems to be a "Just me" thing.

I was going for what I thought was my 6th map piece by wandering round random ports looking for the girl on the "Pride Of Hjalland" who has one. Finally find her and get the map piece, check out the pieces, and find I only have five.

Confused, I reload, and find that sure enough, before encountering her I find I've still got 5 map pieces, but one is a slightly different colour and, indeed, has different information on it (one says Hodur, the other says Hasgar). Have attached the picture of before receiving the map piece (bottom half) and after receiving the map piece (above).

Anyone know what's going on here?

Have you been combining the german and english versions in any way?

Nope. This is just the virgin game bought off gog.

Huh, that makes sense. Quick google has a couple people either saying
A) Hjore's piece is a fake.
B) Hjore's piece is bugged and doesn't count to finding the tomb/doesn't appear (guess it wouldn't appear if you already had the piece from the sailor girl)
C) Just doesn't mention a piece from Hjore in their "map location" lists.
