Hi,

I'm setting up a laptop so it boots into Windows 3.1 and plays DOS games as well. Some DOS game require you to 'shut down your computer' (or shut down DOSBox) to quit. I just wanted to know if the Realms of Arkania games can exit the game back to DOS when you're finished playing, or is it one of those that require you to just shut down when your done? I'm trying to avoid all the games that won't let me Quit.

Thanks for anyone who answers!

All 3 have Exit to DOS commands.

Also: Why? Is the laptop that underpowered? Or are you must interested in Windows 3.1 games? I think Linux with dosbox and/or qemu would serve you much better. Not that I want to tell you what to do.

Hi, thanks - I'll install the games :)

I'm using DOSBox on a Win 10 laptop, but I like writing, programming, playing games, etc, inside the full Dos 5.0 environment, so I've got things like Windows 3.1, Word 6, Visual Basic 3, and so on, set up on the laptop in a single DOSBox setup. I'm trying to find games that will run within that environment without having to launch them individually as separate GOG installs from Windows 10. So, I can use Win 3.1, exit to DOS to play games, return to Win 3.1, etc, all in the one single DOSBox setup, as if on a 90's computer. It's working great!
