Okay, I hope this is a legit post. It has to do with the Realms of Arkania Trilogy CD set that came out in the mid/late 1990s by SirTech.
I've looked everywhere online and can't find a solution, so hopefully the people on here can help.
I mean, $12 total for the whole trilogy on GOG is a good deal, but I already own the CDs, so I don't want to buy them again. Heck, I still own the 8 floppy disk version on my Amiga. i love the series.
But, here's the problem, if anybody is so inclined...I'm using Win7 64-bit and a 64-bit AMD processor on my desktop, and 64-bit Intel processor on my laptop.

I try running at least the first two games in native Win7 mode, and Win95 compatibility mode, and they don't work. I always get the following error message:
The version of this file is not compatible with the version of Windows you're running. Check your computer's system information to see whether you need an x86 (32-bit) or x64 (64-bit) version of the program, and then contact the software publisher.

It does that in both native Win7 and Win95 mode.
I'm like, shouldn't it work fine in Win95 mode?
Has anybody had this problem and gotten it to work? Well, without having to go the Virtual Windows or whatever it is called, route.
I just want this sucker to work on Win7!

Thanks.

You'll need to install DosBox (a DOS emulator) and start the game from there.

Good lord, I can't believe I Forgot to try that. I swear I thought it was a Windows game and wouldn't work on DOSBox.

Thanks you good sir. You are a god amongst men.
