Only the menu music works and all of the level music doesn't play. In the advanced options, the only way to try and configure the damn thing to attempt to get it to behave is some kind of bullshit slider for a "pointer search interval" that makes no sense and it isn't clear what the right codes are to get the stupid program to work as was shown in this video:

I've attached a screenshot to shown what I mean by "bullshit slider": it's a slider displaying "low" and "high" points for different hex codes, presumably sectors of my hard drive or game code. The official description for TPLS is not helpful at all:

If you're having issues dedicating TPLS go to the Advanced Options window and try moving your pointer interval to a higher value or a lower value, the art here is to keep the interval to a minimum to improve performance whilst maintaining functionality.
As you can see, it does not make sense; What is the right interval or value to use without getting an error message saying "pointer out of range"? Do the codes need to be different per system or the same interval for all? If the former, does the location on the hard drive, partition etc. factor into the code range required? It says NOTHING to help you there, just to "keep the interval to a minimum" which could be anything.
One would think they'd just use an actual configuration menu where you browse to the music folder in question so the DLL file can do its job instead of a "pointer search" slider. Advanced user or not, (I don't pretend to be an advanced user) I just want to play the game with the right soundtrack settings and not have to jump through hoops like this. It also means that users less computer literate than me are going to be scared off.
I'm not a programmer of course, so they may have a good reason for doing it that way, but it is a bad and inexcusable reason because the idea of configuration settings for games and/or their mods is that they are meant to be user friendly, which this is not.
