I bought Rayman Forever as a part of today's sale. Downloaded, installed. But just as installation finished, my Avira (free version) reported 2 viruses. Both of them RF setup file. Okeeeey...Now, I know that antivirus programs tend to missfire sometimes, but as soon as I moved that setup file to quarantine (just to see what would happen) another report popped up - this time, three different files in RF's RayKit folder. Now I'm getting a bit worried. This is not my first GOG game but it is a first time something like this happened to me. Can someone check this? All files were supposed to carry W95/CIH virus.

I got the same thing with Avira Free 2012 as you did.

I am sure GOG guys would not screw us over and on the other had I have my trust on Avira. Antivirus programs tend to exaggerate some threats, but it considering RAYMAN a threat, makes me go alert on this.

I'd like have some light shed on this issue.

EDIT: There seems to be this thread already, which leads to a GOG team answer.

Thanks for this one, I did search the forums before starting this topic but found nothing...Well, I guess I just didn't search hard enough.
Hey, did rayman forever I downloaded the installation file as a virus found in those CLIENT.EXE, MAPPER.EXE, RAYRUN.EXE, Startup.Exe
I checked the F-Secure and superantispyvare. Could you say or put in an installation package, where there is no virus.
