It seems that Rayman Forever is playing the wrong music at times. For example during any regular level in Pink Plant woods, it doesn't play the correct music track. As a specific example, in the very first level, it should be playing this track:

But instead plays this one:

This may just be because I'm used to the PS1 and DSi ports, but I seriously think that the Crystal Palace track is not supposed to be the one playing.

I'm running the Rayman Forever install straight from the Gog catalog, and I have not made any changes to it at all. Can someone offer a fix, please?

First take a look at this post:

Rayman Forever was three games on one package, so they had to leave out some of the tracks, as they took most of the game´s size. GOG has gotten the rights to this version, so they can´t just put the missing music pieces. You can do it though if you want.

With that said, you should also know that the PS1 had some different sounds and that different levels in the same world had different parts of the track. On PC, all musics from that world sounded one after another in each level (I suppose technical problems that were solved later on the ports, as they really are different tunes on one track).

Anyway, I think the PC original is still the best, just get the complete soundtrack and the game will improve greatly ;)
