I have been driving myself up the wall trying to get Rayman to work in Boxer on my Mac, and I've gotten so close, only to constantly run into the same problem: the music doesn't play. Ever. I've extracted the bare necessities from the game files, that is everything in the Rayman sub-folder within the Rayman Forever folder, and put it through Boxer's gamebox creator as a CDROM, which allowed the game to open without any crippling issues. However, no music plays at any point in the game. Sound effects work fine, but the music is gone. I have tried countless "solutions" I discovered looking through forums, but the most I've gotten out of that is that I might require a set of .cue/.bin files, which I have no idea how to create/acquire. If anyone has figured out how to get the music working in DOSBox or Boxer, or if anyone knows how I might acquire the necessary files to do so, please let me know.

EDIT: I'm also not certain how to get the game to save my progress. Apparently I need to define a save path, but I'm not sure how to do that.

This question / problem has been solved by Gydionimage
In case anyone actually finds this thread in the next decade, I've narrowed down the issue. I've got the .cue sheet and the .iso (they were labeled game.inst & game.gog respectively), but when I try to mount the .cue file using the autoexec command that came with the game (imgmount d "..\game.inst" -t iso -fs iso) I get this error: "This image must be on a local drive, not a network drive." I've tried specifying the directory in as many different ways as I could think of, but they all yielded the same result. Does anyone know how to get Boxer to recognize this file?

Also, I'm not sure how, but on one of my attempts Boxer seemingly created a new file, tracks.cue, which caused the music to function properly. I have been unable to replicate this success ever since, so I'm still not sure what caused this. Foolishly, I lost those files, so I'm not able to give much more info, but this at least proves that it's possible!

The CUE sheet needs to be named exactly tracks.cue. Your folder structure in the .boxer should be similar. I'll note Star Trail uses two CDs. You presumably only need one .cdmedia folder.

I'm now attempting a similar fix on World Rally Fever, which I will discuss the details of in another thread this way.
