I remember the PS1 version and PC version(I had rayman gold on PC and rayman1 on ps1) Having different cage locations. Are the cage locations of this version the same as on the PC version?

There are alot of dif. versions.
Original is PC
N64 is a direct port of the PC
Dreamcast is also a port of PC/N64, but with minor differences, aswell as globox village.
PS1 was reduced ALOT in size, hence the 800 lums instead of 1000 (no spoilers). Also alot of levels were cut/let out.
The PS2 version is alot bigger/different and stuff, not recommended.
The DS/3DS/iOS ports are ports of either the N64 or DC version

@Dylstew: The cages are in pretty much the same places in most levels, although I've not progressed far into the game to confirm that.
