DorgorSvPL6: I just started trying to play Rayman 3. The game menus and intro cinematic work fine, but the moment gameplay starts it seems that about 60% of its textures (including those of Rayman himself) are missing. Any ideas on how to fix this? The laptop has an Intel Core i3 1.90 GHz processor, 64-bit operating system and windows 8.1.
Like you I had an issue where most textures seem to be missing on Intel HD graphics, and even when I told it to run using the NVidia graphics it failed.
The solution seems (as has been hinted elsewhere on the forum as well) to use the Better Rayman 3 configuration utility
Right here on this forum Still didn't seem to work right for me, until I realised I also needed to
remove the check in Hardware Vertex processing.
Launching the game afterwards I seem to have all the textures in the initial flyby (and also a way to skip the UbiSoft intro logo)
update Oh, still seems there are some textures missing, but at least I can see the ground. Might need to fiddle further. Or rather. it seems more like an issue with lighting as an area will be pitch black then pop back as soon as you get close enough.
