I need help.

Started playing the game and noticed a strange problem with the controls. Whenever Im holding the up and left arrow key at the same time to move towards that diagonal direction, I cant shoot, no matter how many times I press the attack button. Also I tried starting the charge in target lock (holding Ctrl) while standing still and then after a while moving to the diagonal direction, but that caused me being only able to move forward or left, but not the direction between them. This problem doesnt happen with other diagonal directions, its just the forward left one.

I have experience of Rayman 2 PC version for over 15 years and dont remember this happening at all, I suspect its some kind of a glitch.

Has anyone else encountered this?

This is a problem with your keyboard not being able to handle simultaneous key presses rather than a glitch in the game. See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rollover_(key)#Key_jamming_and_ghosting
Youre right, I found out that my new keyboard was the problem. I never knew about the keyboards differences of simultaneous key detection ability, thought they were all the same.

Sorry for the dumb thread. If only there was a way to remove threads.
As RibShark stated, the problem does relies in your keyboard. Given the unability to change the button mapping I recommend you to search for 6KRO or NKRO keyboards as these allow a high and maximum button presses respectively.

If I can suggest brands that label their peripherals equiped with those capacities, try either ASUS or G.Skill.

A good way to know if a keyboard's key-rollover capacities is testing out with the free software Aqua Key Test. Just do an online search and you will find it easily.
