I own the Rayman 2 CD (not GOG version) and my version doesn't work in Windows 7 64 bit. What has been done on this version to correct this issue?

Rayman 2 is known to not play nicely with 64 bit.
Try to start it over the command line and post it.
Maybe it spits something useful out ;)
If it still doesn't work and you're not afraid of trying stuff out, I'd suggest you to get the GOG version.
Maybe they have optimized it a bit...

I don't know if you've gotten this to work or not, but I thought I'd add that, while I don't know what GoG has done, the game does run beautifully on the 64-bit versions of both Vista and Win7.
