Hi,

A while ago I bought Rayman 2 from GOG and I recently installed it, but unfortunately when I open the game, the quality is horrendous - cant read anything on the title screen. I skimmed through the forum and found a similar problem which was "fixed" by nglide, but I tried that and it didnt work.

Any suggestions?

Cheers

somewhere in your install folder should be a file ( options.txt or settings.ini or something like that) open it and seach for anything with resolution .
I got the same problem : ( Sucksss
For some reason I cannot create a new topic but this may be able to fix some people's issue and i'm hoping someone can fix mine.

Got Rayman 2 and there were some issues with the graphics.

They look like this when I launch the game...

"I cannot post links at this moment" but trust me the textures was bad and could not read anything.

Download and install nGlide.
Copy GliVd1vf.dll from \Rayman 2\DLL\Glide to \Rayman 2\DLL\
Run GXSetup.exe in the main Rayman 2 folder. The screen may flash several times during this process.
Change the Renderer to 0 Glide2 (1.0.0) Voodoo Graphics Glide 2 Driver.
Change the resolution to 1280x1024 if using a 16:9 monitor, and press OK.
Run nGlide from the Start screen/Start menu.
Set your screen resolution.
Change aspect ratio to "4:3" if you want the correct perspective, or leave at "fit to screen" to have everything stretch to fill the screen.

So I figured out a solution, I used nglide wrapper to get the game looking correctly and run in 1920X1080 but the game will only cap at 38fps when in game. I've tried disabling vsync in CCC and the nglide launcher. I've looked everywhere for a solution and is hoping someone here has this game and could help me out,

my specs

i5 3570K
HD7970 GHz
8 GB RAM
Windows 7 64bit.
