Hey guys!

Bought Rayman 2 the other day. I was so damn hyped to replay the game that made my childhood!
However getting the game to install properly seems unfeasable. It downloads/check/configure as it should but then I get a "download broken" error. Verifying the game will actually re-download a few files (from like 99.4%) but it won't fix the error anyway.

Yet somehow managed to launch the game once, by miracle? But I hadn't set the resolution right soooo I just closed the damn thing and then I couldn't boot it again.

I do have a shortcut in the game files but upon clicking it asks me to locate the legit .exe, sooo yeah that might be the issue here.

EDIT: Ugh, so I downloaded a .exe from a Google Drive I found on a forum. Had to disable Windows Defender SmartScreen to properly move it to game files, but then any action I undertake on the .exe ends up in it being erased. Just. Like. That.

Any fix?

Thanks!

That's because your anti-malware software is removing the exe and possibly other files. You need to whitelist the game folder.
