So I decided to redownload Origins after a few years. I used to play this game on my old PC, so I don't have any of my old saves and all three slots are empty.

I boot up the game, go to the select save screen, click on one of the empty slots, and...nothing.
The music and graphics sound and look fine, the lum plays Its tune when I select a slot, but the opening cinematic doesn't play and I'm left on the menu. I can still move and go back and exit without issue, but when I try to load a save, nothing happens.

Am I the only one that has this problem? Is there any fix for It?
Any and all help is greatly appreciated.
