So, when I found out about the ability to create my own levels (I'm a huge sucker for games that let you do that) in the "Rayman Designer" part of Rayman Forever, I tried my best to find out how to access it. I entered "Rayman Designer" through the official game launcher, but it only gave me the default levels! It wouldn't let me create!

Then I found out by digging through the RayKit folder of the game's main root folder and found a file called "MAPPER.EXE". This is supposed to be it. This is supposed to be the level creator. I launched it and the correct interface came up. Yay. And when I clicked the open folder, it gave me the option to choose from the six world types, but whenever I clicked on one, nothing happens! The dialog disappears without any other window telling me what to do next! It acts as if I never clicked on the load folder in the first place!

I tried running it as Administrator, I tried Windows compatibility mode for Windows 95 and Windows XP SP3, I even tried loading it up in a Windows 98 virtual machine, but nothing different happened either!!!

Can someone help me to get this thing to work?!?!!!

Thanks for even linking me to the solution! I actually thought that my problem had absolutely nothing to do with the ini file. When I looked through it, the filepaths are using C: filenames, apparently making my system think that it's using my ACTUAL C drive, instead of some DOSBox-mounted fake drives...
