Hi

I got a Game Controller and although it has been calibrated and the game registers it as existing, none of the buttons work whatsoever.

Any advice?

PS. Controller is this: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0011X2I0A

Fixed, you need to install a program called Pinnacle Game Profiler and import the Rayman2.pin file from their website for your controller to work. The same is true for Rayman 3.

After a few days, Pinnacle is not free anymore : does someone have a long term solution ?

There are probably other solutions, but PGP is a lifetime product and requires only a one-time payment iirc. I don't use it anymore, but it's pretty much a long term solution to the issue, even if it's a paid product. As far as I recall, it doesn't cost that much anyway.

EDIT: It's currently 50% off, costing just $10 for a lifetime license. That's a good deal, especially since it's a one-time payment.

Pinnacle sucks, use this.

Pinnacle looks really malware-ish to me, I would honestly stay away from it.

Have you ever used it? Judging by your comment, I'd say no, as your comments seem to be just based on what you are looking at and not based on an actual experience of using the software.

If it was malware, they would clearly not be able to allow users to pay with paypal, as Paypal do suspend accounts if the owner is distributing software that contains malware (counted as mis-selling). I've used and paid for the program and had no malware on my PC whatsoever and I even scanned the installer to check for malware and nothing was reported by my anti-virus software.

I'd recommend not making comments like "it sucks" or "it has malware" when it sounds like you've never used it and can't even link to anything to validate your claims. It works and it solved the problem for me. There is no need to suggest other solutions when I created the thread and found a solution, which clearly nobody else, barring one user, has had an issue with (this forum does not allow me to mark my own posts as the solution, otherwise I would have done it).

I ment as in like, appearance wise. And I'd rather not pay for that when better free alternatives already exist.
