Hi!
Thank you for buying and supporting Rainswept. I'm glad you've had a good time with it - and thank you for the great user reviews, they really help! :)
Over the past week or so since the game's release, I've been working hard to fix bugs and address issues as they are reported. Here are all the bugs that are currently fixed in v1.0.13b:
1. Temporarily removed the character named Anav as talking to him would cause players to get stuck in a conversation loop.
2. Fixed a bug where Grandpa couldn't be interacted with on day 5
3. Fixed a bug where on day 4 in the cafe, sometimes the interact option would get stuck on the skater character walking outside the cafe
4. Fixed an issue where the layers for Officer Blunt and a character in Aspen Street would clash when walking past each other.
5. Fixed a bug where loading a saved game disables the ability to turn pages in the journal.
6. Fixed a bug where in some cases the character would always run to the left automatically when not controlled by the player, possibly due to the default joystick controls.
7. Fixed an issue that would cause some players to become stuck in Allan's basement on day 5 after completing the tasks inside the basement.
8. Fixed a rare bug where the conversation options led to wrong answers during the second interview with Brad.
9. Added Vsync.
10. Fixed a bug where it was possible to get stuck in a conversation with Brad during the second interview.
11. Fixed a bug where interaction with a phone on day 6 was sometimes disabled.
12. Fixed an issue where sometimes Chris could appear in place of Michael in the Main Street after a specific flashback.
Also, about the upcoming improvements - I'm currently trying to figure out a reworked control scheme. Many people have suggested they'd rather the game was completely playable by mouse alone.
My assumption was that WASD movement feels more immersive as it's something we're used to from third person/ first person action games, but it's quite obvious I was wrong! I'm not 100% sure this will work with the way the game is designed, but it's something I'll work on and let you know about it soon.
Controller support will also be worked on. It's something I've wanted to add from the beginning, but a few issues have prevented its implementation.
Again, thanks for playing and supporting Rainswept!
