I really love the R6 series, a few friends wanted a Rogue Spear which can be playable in new PCs. Any hope?.

Some tips for people having trouble with glitches in RS:

Update to v2.05

Open any website in a browser window in the background and leave it open

Alt-tab out of the game and go into task manager
'Show processes from all users'
Right-click RogueSpear.exe -> set affinity
Tick 'all processors'
OK

The game runs perfectly on my Win7 x64, Intel Core i5 2500k, Nvidia gfx.

I really hope they add Rogue Spear some day to the catalogue. Just joined this website today and flipped my shit when I saw Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six in the catalogue. Had to buy it right away. I used to have CD copies of both games but they're long gone now :(

God, I really hope Rogue Spear is coming. I almost regret the fact I bought Rainbow Six but no Rogue Spear.

It feels as if my collection is semi complete.

I heard that Rogue Spear - with the compatibility set to Windows 2000 - works just fine on modern systems.

I have complete rogue spear collection, but it just wont work on vista64, so I would love this to come to GOG as well, brilliant that r6 is there, this would top it for me.

Rogue Spear works fine on Vista assuming you have Nvidia card (and use a workaround that's easy to find around the net). If you have an AMD card though, you're out of luck as theirs no compatibility.

i suppose Rogue Spear is not coming to GOG as long as nobody finds a way to make it run on modern systems equipped with ATI cards. i've looked around a bit (i have an ATI card) and from what i've seen, there is no solution yet. nobody even knows why exactly it isn't working. people are talking vaguely about a DirectX bug.

Yup have an AMD/ati card, only hope left is a gog version :/

Tried many, many fixes, no joy including one about directx , i see from youtube there is still a decent amount of active players doings coop same as GR1.

Rogue Spear + Urban Ops + NATO ARMM Mod. Best gaming experience ever.

Basically, my hope for order of release are:

1. Rogue Spear + Urban Ops.
2. Black Thorn.
3, Eagle Watch.
4. Covert Ops.

Take Down will never get released here, Rainbow Six Three is already on Steam.

It would be nice if we could get the deleted Black Thorn mission with the tangos on board an airliner, but I'd settle for the UK uncensored version that takes place in an airport terminal, not a stupid bus station.

Playing the beta for Rainbow Six Siege made me get back into the original Rainbow Six. I played Rouge Spear as a kid and would love to play it again.

That said i also want them to finally release Eagle Watch and the expansions for the Ghost Recon
